Mega Electricals is a Guwahati-based electrical firm working on power transmission and distribution. We build EHV and HV infrastructure, and we operate and maintain it after it is energised.

Our O&M service covers the day-to-day running of substations and lines after commissioning. Operation is shift-based and every action is recorded.

- Hourly recording of current, MW / MVAR, voltage, tap position and frequency
- Switching operations under a permit-to-work system
- Daily log sheets, shift handover and event reporting
- Coordination with the load despatch and the utility's control room
- Scheduled preventive maintenance of switchyard equipment
- Transformer upkeep: oil level, silica gel, OLTC and cooling
- Routine testing: IR, earth resistance, breaker timing, contact resistance
- Line patrolling, hot-spot checks and right-of-way clearance
- Breakdown attendance and restoration of supply
